ABOUT SARA
Sara was born in Austin, TX on August 25, 1995. From birth, she brought joy and amusement to her family with her loving personality and warm heart. Her friends remember her as a free spirit that brought laughter and excitement to those around her.
At the tender age of four, Sara began training in Tae Kwon Do with Diaz Martial Arts. She continued for 14 years earning her junior black belt and first degree black belt. Her artistic side had her going from doodles to first place for art pieces in school. Her creativity flowed in the many stories and plays she wrote, with some projects she was currently working on to finish.
Sara attended San Marcos High School where she became an accomplished Thespian, earning the Best Actress Award for the 2012 school year. Sara was also a proud member of the SMHS drumline and salsa band, a tennis team member, President of the National Arts Honor Society, a proud writer and film fanatic. Her talent for music led her to play many instruments such as the piano, guitar, ukulele, horn and a variety of drums and other percussion instruments. She graduated SMHS in 2013 and went on to become a student at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. She was a Radio, Television, and Film major and dreamt of becoming a film director or producer. While at UNT, Sara pledged for Zeta Tau Alpha sorority in the spring of 2015. She had just become their philanthropy chair that she was to start upon her return to school for the spring 2016 semester
She is remembered by her spunky attitude, bright smile, and caring heart.
